Pre-school programme
Within two hours, our youngest visitors aged 5–7 learn about the Messel Pit in a playful way and develop an idea of what the rainforest was like back then. Simple movement games illustrate how some fossil animals moved and fed. Please bring sturdy, flat shoes and weatherproof clothing (sun or rain protection).
Route
Approx. 3 km, 60 meters elevation gain, up to 8% gradient.
