Curator's tour (1H)
Join our curator on a one-hour journey of discovery through the museum and, in particular, through the special exhibition “Messel 30+.” You will experience the geology of the Messel Pit firsthand. After an introduction to the World Heritage Site, you will immerse yourself in the geological diversity around Messel. Rocks, fossils, minerals, and archaeological finds await you.

Approx. 150 m, 0 meters elevation gain. The tour takes place in the museum.

€4 plus museum admission (museum admission tickets can only be purchased on site; children under 6 and carers accompanying people with a ‘B’ mark on their disability card are admitted free of charge)

** Applies to families of up to 5 people (1–2 adults and 1–4 children aged up to 17). With the Hessen Family App, you receive a 20% discount on the family ticket.
